THE PROGRAM
The Aviation Technology program teaches you all you need to know for the Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) licensure exam, opening the door to a rewarding and dynamic career in the aviation industry.
The Aviation Maintenance Technology curriculum starts with aircraft familiarization, math, physics, and basic aircraft electricity before moving on to airframe and powerplant subjects such as hydraulics, landing gear, flight controls, and the teardown, inspection, buildup and testing of reciprocating and turbine engines.
Your studies can lead to an exciting, high-demand career maintaining and repairing aircraft or to other careers, including analyzing work methods and best practices, designing support systems for maintenance personnel, monitoring safety, developing and delivering training, and more.
You will have the opportunity to complete training and test for your Airframe and Powerplant licenses in just 24 months. Careers in aviation maintenance are soaring….and so are the paychecks!
