Minimum Qualifications: An Associate’s degree with Bachelor’s degree preferred in welding technology, industrial technology, engineering technology, or a related field. Candidates must have AWS certification and a minimum of five years of industry experience, with two years’ experience in management preferred. Experience must include the competencies, skills and knowledge levels the instructor will be expected to teach. Candidates should be familiar with SolidWorks and/or CAD, proficient in MS Office applications, and have excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Prior experience in industry training or college-level teaching is desired with experience using innovative strategies and technology in the classroom simulating work environments. Should have Certified Welding Educator certificate. The interview process will include a demonstration of welding skills by performing basic welding requirements in accordance with AWS certification standards.
