Printing on campus will be changing starting with the Spring 2020 semester. Student printing will be tracked. The immediate change will apply to the printers listed below.

Classrooms… The classroom printers will be added during the first weeks of the Spring 2020 semester.
Printing Budgets and Rates:
Students will be assigned $15.00 each semester for printing, which is part of the technology fee paid each semester. [The equivalent of 250 pages]
Print jobs sent to SecurePrinter will cost $0.06 per page.
Any money remaining in your budget at the end of the semester will carry over to the next semester.
Community Patrons will receive a deposit of $15 at the beginning of the patron’s 12-month subscription
How can I check my budget balance?
– Go to either the Library or Learning Success Center
– Either use your ID card to swipe in, or login manually
– Press Secure Print
– Your balance will be displayed below ‘Secure Queue.’
What if I run out of paper?
When your balance reaches $0.00, you can go to the cashier window of the Finance Office and purchase an amount to be deposited in your balance.
What about my privacy or protecting my work?
Print jobs sent to SecurePrinter will not be printed immediately. The documents will only print when you go to the Library or Learning Success Center, sign-in on the printer, select the job and select print.
Print jobs sent to SecurePrinter will remain in the queue for 72 hours. You will not be charged for the print job until you select print and the document(s) are printed.
What if I’m in a classroom?
When you send a print job the classroom printer, it will print immediately. When you print to SecurePrinter, it will be placed in the print queue. After class, or later, you can go to the Library or Learning Success Center to retrieve (print) the document(s).
