Career Pathways Success

Sharon Richardson is the single mother of four children.  Sharon came to America from the Caribbean Islands.  Ms. Richardson enrolled in Career Pathways in November of 2016 to pursue her GED through ASU Mid-South’s Adult Education program.  Ms. Richardson completed her GED in December 2016 and enrolled into college coursework in the spring of 2017.  Ms. Richardson completed her Technical Degree in General Studies and her Associate of Science in Hospitality Management in May 2019.  Ms. Richardson has been hired as an adjunct instructor to begin teaching Food Service Management classes in the Fall 2019 semester at ASU Mid-South.  Ms. Richardson states, “I give all credit to God and the Career Pathways program at ASU Mid-South.  Without the tremendous support and encouragement and financial assistance I received from the Career Pathways staff I would never have reached the heights of success where I am today.”
