STEP 1: Complete your Application |
- Determine your student type and complete your application
This helps us identify the right next steps for you. - Watch your email and respond
After we process your application, Admissions will email you a list of required documents and your next steps. - Submit required documents
Follow the instructions sent by Admissions to submit transcripts, immunization records or other materials. - Complete a college entrance exam
ACT, Accuplacer or SAT scores are required to enter ASU Mid-South. If you have not taken one of these, you can take the Accuplacer exam through our Testing Center.
STEP 2: Complete FAFSA and Apply for Scholarships |
- Complete the FAFSA
Submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid and include our school code 015862 at studentaid.gov. This determines your eligibility for financial aid. - Apply for scholarships
Explore ASU Mid-South and Arkansas scholarships that can help reduce the cost of college. - Watch your email and respond
Financial Aid may contact you if additional information is needed to finalize your aid.
STEP 3: Register for Classes |
- Become an admitted student
Admissions will notify you when you are fully admitted. Once admitted, it is time to register for classes. - Connect with your advisor
Work with your advisor to discuss your goals and plan your courses. - Build your class schedule
With your advisor’s guidance, finalize your schedule for the semester and register online.
STEP 4: Pay for College |
- Review your tuition balance
Check your balance online to see what you owe. - Pay in full or set up a payment plan
Pay your tuition in full or choose a flexible online payment plan. - Watch your email for confirmation
Once your payment or plan is processed, you will receive confirmation via email. - Time to buy books
Visit the bookstore to purchase your books for your classes.
STEP 5: Attend Class! |
- Attend New Student Orientation
Orientation gives you tips, resources and connections to help you succeed from day one. - Begin your classes
Show up ready to learn and take the next step toward your goals. - Get involved on campus
Meet your instructors, join student clubs and organizations and take advantage of campus resources to make the most of your college experience.
