Responsibilities: Ensure an efficient, courteous, and customer-focused office environment; process requisitions for payment and monitor the departmental budget; prepare monthly and quarterly reports; manage campus shipping and receiving functions, including deliveries; maintain employee driving records and vehicle requests; tagging and tracking campus equipment and inventory; provide general administrative support for the Maintenance Department which shall include, but is not limited to: answering and directing phone calls, entering departmental timesheets, monitoring maintenance requests, and other duties as assigned.
This position reports to the Director of Facilities and Maintenance.
Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma, with associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred; one or more years of experience in accounting and/or administrative support skills; excellent telephone and computer application skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Other job related education and/or experience may be substituted for all or part of these basic requirements.
Ideal candidate will: be organized and friendly; possess attention to detail; have ability to multi-task and execute responsibilities accurately with minimal follow-up; must have working knowledge of general office and record-keeping procedures and standard office equipment.
Salary & Benefits: This is a non-classified position with a salary range of $26,000 to $29,000 depending on experience. This position includes a full benefits package including health, dental, vision, and life insurance as well as a retirement plan.
