This is a 10‑month position with full college benefits.
Qualifications: Masters Degree in Mathematics OR Masters degree in Education (or a related field) with a Bachelors degree in Mathematics; previous teaching experience, preferably at a community college; evidence of ongoing commitment to professional development and to student learning and goal achievement; good communication skills and ability to work effectively with a diverse student body. Working knowledge of Microsoft applications programs is required. Previous use of Pearson software, Canvas (or another Learning Management System) is a plus.
Responsibilities: Reports to the Associate Vice Chancellor for Learning and Instruction with responsibility for instruction of developmental level mathematics courses, academic advising, student retention, assessment of student learning, service on college committees, and other duties as assigned. Work assignments may include evening and/or weekend hours.
Proposed Salary: $37,500 is entry level with competitive benefits package available including retirement; health, life, dental & disability insurance; a flex benefit plan; and tuition waivers for employee and family.
